This 1984 t-shirt is a tribute to the dystopian George Orwell classic Nineteen Eighty-Four, which centres on totalitarianism, mass surveillance and repressive regimentation of people and behaviours, which we can currently see being played out in real time across the west with facial recognition, data harvesting social media apps, online censorship, the proposed roll out of digital ID which many fear will lead to a communist style social credit score system being implemented.
